With nearly two decades of experience in the substance abuse and mental health field, Marco has dedicated his career to helping individuals reclaim their lives through compassionate, ethical, and client-centered care. As the Program Director and nurse of Nu Dai Wellness, his mission is to create the most effective, personalized treatment experience possible—one that fosters true healing, lasting recovery, and renewed hope.

Marco’s career spans a wide range of leadership roles, from support staff member to Executive Director, giving him a deep understanding of every stage of the recovery journey. As a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) and a graduate of Stanbridge College (Class of 2012), he brings a strong medical and clinical foundation to his work, ensuring that clients receive holistic, evidence-based care that addresses the mind, body, and spirit.

Beyond his professional expertise, Marco’s personal journey in recovery fuels his passion for this work. He understands firsthand the courage it takes to seek help and is deeply committed to providing a safe, supportive environment where individuals can heal and thrive. Under his leadership, Nu Dai Wellness is not just offering treatment—it’s changing lives, one person at a time.

Matthew Beck

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Matthew Beck is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 11 years of experience in the field of addiction and mental health treatment. He holds a Master’s degree in Psychology from California Southern University (2018) and is licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.

Matthew specializes in treating substance use disorders, particularly those complicated by co- occurring mental health conditions. His clinical interests also include trauma-focused therapy and relationship-focused therapy. Grounded in evidence based practices, Matthew frequently integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Client- Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused approaches into his work.

Driven by a deep sense of purpose, Matthew finds profound meaning in helping others discover hope and purpose in their own lives. His empathetic and collaborative style helps clients feel supported while empowering them to move forward with confidence.

Originally from Southern California, Matthew embraces an active lifestyle and enjoys traveling and staying on the move whenever possible.

He holds an associate degree in Radiologic Technology and is a certified personal trainer as well as a certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor. This diverse background allows him to approach recovery from a comprehensive perspective, combining clinical knowledge with practical experience to foster lasting, meaningful change for clients.

Shaun advocates for an approach to recovery that addresses the mind, body, and spirit. He emphasizes mindfulness and meditation as essential tools for managing stress, reducing anxiety, and fostering emotional resilience—critical aspects of the recovery process. Outside of his professional role, Shaun is dedicated to maintaining a balanced and healthy lifestyle. He enjoys spending quality time with his family, taking his son on hikes, practicing hot yoga, and staying active through circuit training. These principles of balance, well-being, and self-care are integral to both his personal life and his approach to supporting others on their recovery journey.

As our Clinical Outreach Coordinator, he leverages his own experience with recovery to provide authentic support and insight, knowing firsthand the courage it takes to embark on the journey of healing. His mission is to ensure that no one faces the challenges of recovery alone.

Vyvyanna Tran

Primary Therapist

During her time as a community mental health therapist, Vyvyanna developed a deep passion for instilling wellness, self-discovery, and emotional healing in her clients. She believes in creating a warm, safe, and motivating space where individuals feel seen, heard, and supported throughout their recovery journey.

Vyvyanna’s approach is client-centered, drawing from both attachment-based and psychodynamic perspectives. She also integrates tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support meaningful and lasting change.

She earned her Master’s in Psychology from California Polytechnic University, Pomona. Her path into this work has been shaped not only by her education and training, but also by her own lived experiences with mental health. These personal insights continue to inspire her clinical practice and serve as a reminder of the strength and resilience that exist within each person.

Vyvyanna firmly believes that healing is not linear and that positive transformation is always possible—no matter where someone is starting from. She is honored to walk alongside her clients with compassion, curiosity, and deep respect for their individual process.

Lillie Taylor

Lead Behavioral Health Technician

Lillie is a compassionate and dedicated Lead Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) at Nu Dai Wellness, where she combines hands-on client support with creative outreach. Driven by a deep belief in transformation, she meets individuals where they are in their recovery journey, offering empathy, patience, and encouragement. She has a strong passion for helping clients express themselves and build healthy coping strategies.

Born and raised in San Clemente, CA, Lillie draws inspiration from the beach, which shapes her grounded and holistic approach to healing. She is currently pursuing her Associate’s Degree in Drug and Alcohol Studies to further her expertise. A proud mother and woman of faith, she is guided by her Christian beliefs in both her personal and professional life. Lillie is committed to growth, balance, and purpose, striving to make a meaningful impact on those she serves while nurturing her family.

Dr. Dmitry Foox, PT, DPT

Group Facilitator

Dr. Dmitry Foox, PT, DPT is a sober member of the recovery community who is passionate about making a meaningful impact through his work at Nu Dai Wellness. He integrates his expertise as a Physical Therapist with his personal experiences overcoming substance abuse and managing chronic pain to support clients on their healing journey. Dr. Foox earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Chapman University in 2018 and completed an Orthopedic Residency at California State University, Long Beach in 2019. His graduate research highlighted the critical role of physical therapy in addiction treatment, reinforcing his commitment to holistic, client-centered care within the Nu Dai Wellness program.

In addition to his role at Nu Dai Wellness, Dr. Foox is the founder of HP Mental Health, an initiative dedicated to addressing mental health through innovative, holistic approaches such as physical therapy, pain neuroscience education, somatic movement, and experiential therapies. At Nu Dai Wellness, he brings this same philosophy into practice—helping clients reconnect with their bodies, reduce pain, and build resilience as part of their recovery. His unique combination of clinical expertise and lived experience allows him to offer compassionate, effective care that supports physical, emotional, and long-term healing.

Heather Fyock

Case Manager

Heather Fyock is a Case Manager at Nu Dai Wellness, where she is committed to supporting individuals on their path to recovery and overall wellness. Originally from San Diego, California, Heather relocated to Orange County to pursue her education. She earned her degree in Human Services from Saddleback College and obtained her Substance Use Disorder Certified Counselor (SUDCC) certification, equipping her with the knowledge and skills to effectively support clients navigating substance use and mental health challenges.

Heather is passionate about working in the behavioral health field, driven by her personal connection to the impact addiction has had within her own family. This experience has strengthened her dedication to providing compassionate, client-centered care and supporting individuals as they work toward lasting recovery and improved mental health.

Heather plans to further her education and pursue licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to continue expanding her ability to support individuals and families. Outside of her professional role, Heather enjoys visiting her family in Hawaii, spending time with her cat, Pickle, and fostering animals in her free time. She is dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those she serves by promoting hope, healing, and long-term recovery.
